Services provided include in-person and virtual Cooking Shows, Community support through free nutrition education classes, and Workplace Wellness through lunch and learns. We also support your health through the sales of health conscious cookware by Saladmaster, and various health and wellness recommendations in our lifestyle shop.  Everything we recommend is of the highest quality and from the best companies, we use what we recommend!

The Conscious Cook, San Diego’s Premier Cooking and Wellness Center, opened April 1, 2009. The owner, Sadie King, is committed to serving her community with heart and changing lives!  She started this journey in 2000 and has been studying, researching, and practicing natural health and wellness ever since.  In addition, she has been building relationships with her peers in the wellness field so the center can have many experts in many fields available.  Sadie graduated from Humboldt State University with a BA in 2002 and moved to San Diego, CA in 2004.  Since March of 2006 Sadie has been teaching families how to cook and eat healthier using the right food choices, equipment and techniques.

  • Certified in Plant Based Nutrition, 2013 from T. Colin Campbell Foundation and Cornell University in New York.
