Dijon Chicken Satay with Spicy Ginger Sauce

Serves 10

-This flavor profile will complement any side dish. Try the marinade on shrimp or organic tofu too!-

1 1/2 lbs chicken breast halves, cut into 1 inch strips.

1/2 cup Dijon Mustard

1 tbsp Chinese Five Spice Powder

1/2 tsp Sea Salt

Directions:

1. Clean chicken and cut into 1-inch strips.
2. In a medium sized bowl, toss chicken strips with Dijon, Chinese fivespice, and sea salt
3. Place chicken strip on skewer

Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat and brown each side. Continue to cook with lid closed, on low heat until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Serve with spicy ginger sauce.

 Spicy Ginger Sauce

Yield: 1 cup

-Add peanut butter for a creamy peanut sauce-

Blend:    ¼ cup Tamari
¼ cup Mirin
¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Sriracha
¼ fresh ginger juice
1 clove minced garlic
